The eTwinning project "Mosaic of Different Cultures: Cultural Exchange with eTwinning" is a comprehensive educational activity that aims to help students discover different cultures and understand the richness of cultural diversity. Thanks to this project, students will gain more in-depth knowledge about their own cultures while also getting to know the traditions, values and lifestyles of other countries.
Purpose
The aim is to develop students' respect and tolerance for different cultures, create a global perspective and increase their ability to interact with different cultures, and develop students' communication, cooperation and project management skills using the eTwinning platform.
Goals
The aim is to develop joint projects with students from different countries to engage in cultural exchange, to ensure the active participation of students by organizing cultural events in a virtual environment, to allow students to introduce their own cultures and represent them on an international platform, and to establish cooperation among teachers on cultural exchange and development.
Therefore;
Raising innovative and open generations,
Students are expected to exhibit behaviors of responsibility, sharing, cooperation, patriotism, compassion and sensitivity,
Students from different countries are expected to exchange information and use their foreign languages effectively,
Develop their creative thinking skills and learn to work as a team,
Get to know Web2.0 tools and use technology actively, and develop interdisciplinary development and application skills with information tools.
Expected Results
The expected results are that students will become more open-minded and tolerant towards cultural diversity, students will develop communication, cooperation and problem-solving skills, students will have a stronger sense of belonging to their own culture, international cooperation between schools will increase, and teachers will have enriched their pedagogical approaches.
As a result of the project, collective original products are expected to emerge. In this project, which we set out with this perspective, different activity examples, joint products and collaborative products will emerge from the students' perspective. Students will have the opportunity to develop their technological skills with the web2.0 tools they will use in their studies. As a result of the project, the original products produced by the students will be turned into an e-book.
Project Schedule: Students will realize the products specified in the project work schedule under the leadership of their guidance teachers. The founding partners will act in cooperation and work in accordance with the determined schedule.

Final Product
Creation of a common e-book on the subject of "Mosaic of Different Cultures: Cultural Exchange with eTwinning". Students will prepare text or visuals that reflect the history, food and cultural heritage of their own city and place them on the final slide page. The e-book will be shared online on the final product page on May 15, 2025.
